CHRISTMAS ARTIST ALLEY APPLICATIONS

Surprise! Were you expecting a second market this year from us?
We’re excited to announce our Christmas market this year, it will be a bit bigger than our first one with another floor added, new activities and even a photobooth. We’re on the search for artists with a good sense of humour and that can make us laugh and giggle with their art. If you think you fit the bill (duckbill, get it?), apply down below!

  • 31TH JULY: Artist Alley Applications Close

  • 18TH AUGUST: Application results are released to all applicants: successful, waitlisted and unsuccessful

  • 17-18 DECEMBER: Come to Duck Duck and get up to some fun shenanigans ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

APPLICATION CRITERIA

  • Market Theme: Cute and Silly
  • The funnier the better, show us your silliest memes or creations!
  • Both original and fan art is welcomed, we’re open to all forms of art whether it is paper stationery, crochet or candles ( •̀ ω •́ )✧s

stall information

  • All artists will be required to bring their own tablecloth.
  • Tables do not include backwalls or electrical powerpoints.
  • Bump-in will not be available on the Friday before the event.
  • Each artist will be given one helper pass and two complimentary guest passes
  • 6″ trestle tables can be provided (1800mm length x 800mm width x 740mm) but you can BYO for a $10 discount
  • No plagarised, NSFW or AI art will be allowed. Swear words are accepted

APPLYING AND SHARING A TABLE WITH Another artist

Individuals can apply for half tables (3ft) or a full table (6ft) or you and friend can both share one full table. The choice is up to you!
For artists sharing a table, we assess each artist individually and in the case where your table partner’s application is unsuccessful you will be given an option to share a table with another attending artist or can upgrade to a full table.

  • Full table (6ft): 1800mm x 800mm x 740mm height, size may vary slightly
  • Half Table (3ft): 900mm x 800mm x 740mm height, will share half of a full table

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

Each vendor is required to have public liability insurance (PLI) of at least $10 million and must be valid and cover the dates for this event. 
Recommended companies are My Market Insurance and AAMI. Failure to provide this document will result in your application not being successful or withdrawal of your stall from the event
